Sharp’s AQUOS photo player prints / displays images on your HDTV - Engadget
Remember yesterday when I was waxing away poetically about the potential brilliance/stupidity of the digital photo frame scanner combo?
Yeah those were the days… combined products that made sense, sort of.
Now sharp is announcing it’s very own multi function device. The Photo printer and player. Yep feed it memory card (or blue-tooth or networked folder) and it will spit out your memories on your HDTV or print them out on photo paper.
Ok it kind of makes sense. I can see showing off pics of the family reunion to Uncle Freddie and him asking for a copy of a picture, but still… does it need to be right by the TV.
What’s wrong with printing it off the $50 (or free) photo printer you got with your computer. Do you really need to spend $260 bucks on a device that lives in your entertainment center to do the same thing? Really?
