The gaming world is all a twitter (literally) about Nintendo’s very stealthy announcement of the Nintendo 3DS.
This will be the next generation in the Nintendo DS line that now includes the DS Lite, the DSi, and the soon to be released DSi XL.
In addition to the normal list of improvements to WiFi connectivity and so on the 3DS intends to bring 3D Gaming to the handheld without the need for special glasses.
Also included in the hand held package is Nintendo now famous motion controlling technology (ala Wii remote).
This is very interesting, but I will be waiting to see this in person before I get too excited. But if this new 3DS comes out at the DS’s sub $200 price point, perhaps we will see a price cut on the DS Lite and DSi, which it seems I am in the market for now. :)
