Vizio dives into the Internet set top box market with it’s $99 Google TV powered mini device.
The pitch is it turns any TV into a smart TV, with apps and such.
It looks like a nice sort of hybrid between a Roku Streaming box and Google TV. Bringing you the best of streaming TV like Netflix, Amazon VOD, STreaming Radio, etc… combined with You Tube and a full screen Google Chrome Web browser for viewing anything online on the big screen.
The remote is even pretty slick with a track pad on one side and a full keyboard on the other.
It will even integrate with your dish or cable box for total control of your system from one interface.
Oh and the best part…. it includes integrated OnLive gaming. Onlive is that company that offers streaming gaming from their library of thousands of titles for a few bucks a month.
So yeah it’s Roku, a Google TV, an Xbox, in one handy package.
