The Apple tablet? no, still no confirmation. The Crunch Pad? No, should be in productions but we have seen nothing hit yet. Vega, hell yes.
What? A company I have never heard of promising a low cost tablet computer due out in the next six months? Yes, such is the ways of the tech world.
Innovative Converged Devices is showing off their Vega line of tablets, powered by Google’s Android. The Vega should come in three flavors, 7” 11” and 15”, will support WiFi as well as 3G and feature the Nvidia Tegra processor for HD media support.
So far the hottest things in Tablets are the Apple tablet and the Microsoft Courier, and neither is more than a rumor or a concept at this point. Lets see if a no-name company can do any better.
