I’m not sure not sure what’s up with NASA lately. Instead of sending up orbiters and landers we now seem to be concentrating on Impacters. It makes you wonder if someone at NASA is a bit impacted. ;-)
Seriously though this is interesting research. The LCROSS Lunar Impacter is going to slam into the moon tomorrow. Live coverage will be available at NASA TV starting at 6:15am EDT.
There will also be a News Conference with initial results at 10AM EDT also on NASA TV.
So what’s next NASA? Shall we crash into Mars? I hear Venus is nice?
