Robotic floor tiles keep you from actually getting anywhere
This is an interesting proof of concept by more of those people who have way too much time on their hands.
Robotic Tiles that adjust themselves so that you are always walking on them. These ones specifically keep you from getting anywhere at all. But I can sort of see uses for this.
Think of the star trek holodeck, so they can make the room look like it’s not a room but a wide open field but how to you get to run through that field without ever running into the walls of the holodeck? Well with these robotic tiles of course.
