Despite some government official going on the news the other night and declaring the recession over. We are all still feeling the effects of this tough economy.
The only bright side is that we are starting to see some nice price cuts in the gear we love as a result. But I think iPhone case maker case-mate might have just taken things a bit too far.
Why yes, yes that is a cardboard iPhone case. And it’s for real.
The good news is it’s only $0.79 a case, but you have to buy a pack of 10. ($.99 if you want just one) However I suspect you’ll need all ten as this isn’t going to take abuse real well.
What’s even cooler is you can free get a custom hand engraving on the case (sharpie) on it by request!
I wonder what a shiny new iMac would cost if it came in a cardboard case?
