I now see why Palm was slow to get their development package and app store rolling. It was because they were busy pushing out a second WebOS phone.
The Palm Pixi is the new little brother to the Pre. It’s really just a Pre with a fixed keyboard instead of a slider. (It’s a Treo Pre, or a Preo?)
Oh it’s got a bit more horsepower too. It’s sporting the new qualcomm MSM7627 chipset. Hopefully the Pre will get a refresh with this upgraded chipset too.
Personally I like the slider keyboard in the Pre. Exposed buttons and I don’t get along, as my buddy RebRob will testify too. Many a time he has gotten to listen to my car radio or a private conversation from my wife with the muffled audio quality that can only come from listening thought a pair of jeans.
Reports are that this will be released to Sprint in time for the Holiday season.
