Earlier this week we saw the Beer Tap that Tweets, now, IBM of all companies, is patenting a TV Remote that tweets too.
But wait it gets better, said remote “system” could not only tweet the show you are watching but send a snap shot of the screen.
It would not only work with Twitter the fragile platform that everyone is basing their emerging tech on, but other blogging systems as well.
Also in the spec is a means of two way communications, so you could see any replys to your “tweet” or blog post right on your remote!!!
Don’t get me wrong, as an avid tweeter myself, this is a pretty cool idea, but I can’t help but wonder about the voluntary lack of privacy we are all going through, especially when our appliances start tweeting for us.
What’s next the Fridge that tweets we are eating the left over pie at 3am? The coffee maker that laments your going off to Starbucks every morning? The bed that lets the world know when you have someone over?
