Perhaps the whole “There’s an App for that” slogan has gone a tad too far.
Passion, a brand new iPhone app has been released. It’s purpose is to rate your sexual abilities.
From the site:
“Ever wondered if how well you compared to other people during sex, well now you can with Passion. This iPhone application measures how well you perform during sex, and gives you a rating from 0 to 10, 10 being the highest. Then you can go online and see how well you did against the rest of the world.”
And it’s so simple to use!
You just start the App, lay it on the bed, attach to an arm band, or leave it in your pocket_ (seriously though, take the time to take your pants off for goodness sake.)_ and let it go to work while you and your significant other get busy.
The App uses the iPhone’s internal accelerometer, and Microphone to measure movement of the device and the ambient noises to come up with a score. It then can compare your score with the rest of the world so you can see how good or bad you are at…. yeah that.
This is crazy, not just a bad idea but the fact that you can seriously measure the quality of an “encounter” by the amount of movement and noise that happens.
Clearly if you want to win with this app, you should just jump up and down on a water bed while blaring Rush Limbaugh.
I don’t know about you but that’s not my idea of a quality…
gah, I’ve given this stupid app too much text as it is, but I Laurent this will be a hit, especially with the College set, who will no doubt wear their scores as a badge of honor.
