Those of us cord cutters normally keep a digital antenna around for just such an occasion but this may be the beginning of the end for the antenna too.
Now, there is no word on if this stream will be free, but I am assuming it will be, because it should be.
The Superbowl is all about advertising, well at least the the NFL and the Network that carries it, and streaming it would just put more eyeballs on those adds.
I mean heck 1/4 of America just watches the Superbowl for the ads anyway.
I f I can get the Superbowl over the Xbox 360 or my ROKU box I will steam it rather that watch it over the air this year. Just to support this initiative. I mean heck what if the networks just realized that the shows they give away fro free over the air (with ads) would be worth streaming live over the Internet too… what if, indeed?
