Creative is trying to play catch up with Apple’s popular iPod Touch media player.
FCC filings show off the back side of such a device which includes a Camera with a HD moniker next to it. But will it be in time, since we just reported a rumor that the next touch may include a camera too.
What else would make this a compelling competitor to the iPod Touch? Well what if Creative ditched their own operating system in favor of Google’s Android? Then the Zii could take advantage of an already rich developer community for Android. Android OS, an HD Camera, and maybe blue tooth tethering could make this a compelling choice.
Of course they’d have to undercut Apple’s price too. ;-)
