CNET News is reporting a Tech Crunch story that Apple has placed a massive order for camera components destine for the next version of the iPod Touch.
A camera, especially one that could do video with on board editing like the iPhone 3GS would make the next generation iPod Touch a compelling upgrade.
Toss in there GPS and Blue Tooth Tethering and it would make it a slam dunk, but lets not get greedy… This rumor is just about the camera, and Tech Crunch has made some blunders in the past, so their reporting it does not make it true.
However, It’s a very believable rumor, in my opinion.
There are also other rumors out there of the iPod Nano getting a camera too, but I’m not buying that one at all.
