Ok, this is awesome, though I’m not exactly why I feel that way, or if I should feel that way. But I can’t help it, I want one.
The Looxcie (Look-See) is an always on camcorder that you wear over your ear, sort of like a blue tooth ear piece. Lets face it, as dorky as those thing are, they are getting more common place so this thing should go mostly unnoticed… mostly.

This camera is recording constantly, it continually stores the most recent 4 hours of video (destroying older stuff as it goes) and has a button on it that when you hit it instantly sends (via blue tooth) the last 30 second of video to your Android phone. You can then edit the clip and send it up to You Tube, Tumblr, wherever.
The Android app also lets you access the full 4 hours of stored video as needed…
The idea being that you never have a moment where you wished you had your camera, or you wish you had time to grab it, set it up, turn it on, etc. Just look at it and you have captured it.
Ok that concept is cool enough but there are other uses too, what about medical usages, people with short term memory loss. Legal uses, News uses, oh and don’t get me started on the porn industry.
Yep I want one, but the $200 price tag and the low resolution (480x320 15fps) video is holding me back a bit. So I might wait for the next version that hopefully will do 720p at 30fps.
Via the blue tooth to the phone I can even see this eventually being able Live stream to Ustream, etc…
