Samsung Galaxy Tab preview — Engadget
A nice video by Engadget of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab, the 7” Android based competitor to the iPad.
This is the tablet I have been most watching, and by hitting the link above you’ll see some nice pics and a full list of specs for the device.
The only disappointing thing I see is the specs Engadget lists show this device being GSM based. I was really hoping to see this hit Verizon, but… I did see a report (photo) of a CDMA version in the wild too, so maybe the Engadget review unit is GSM and they will release another version for VZW. One can hope.
Also in tablet news I saw a report of Toshiba’s Tegra 2 based android unit getting some real specs but no release date nor pricing thus far.
I think this is going to be the fall/winter of the tablet, and the price/carrier (or WiFi only?) options are going to be the real differentiators .
