Alright I have ignored the rumor long enough. It seems to have gotten some legs, and is in fact now stomping all over most of the other tech news sites.
The rumor is of a large screen version of the Amazon Kindle, designed to be more friendly to newspapers and school textbooks.
There have been reports of this being some how the savior of the newspaper industry and will be some how subsidized by the major papers. But I don’t know about that…
However with an Amazon Press conference looming tomorrow it does look like Amazon will be launching some sort of new device, and it looks like it will be a larger screen version of the Kindle.
