Mashable reports that Amazon is actively working on subscription plan for it’s book library.
Dubbed a Netflix for books, the library of titles would mostly include older works and some sort of restriction as to how many books you would have access too in a given month.
It’s an interesting idea for the avid reader, but couple this with the increasing rumor of an Amazon tablet that can, read books, stream movies & TV, in addition to regular tablet stuff like play games, access email, surf etc. and you have a recipe for a real contender in the tablet market.
