Time Warner wants us to vote on whether or not it... →
Time Warner cable rates are on the rise again, but they have launched a website that lets us vote on whether or not they stand up to the channel providers.
What? We have to tell you to stand up for your customers?
How about this TW grow some kahones and be the first to offer Ala cart cable, so I can stop paying obscene amounts of money every month for services I don’t use….

Precorder-Video Recording finally comes to the... →
Well it’s not official, it’s a home brew app, but somebody had to do something. I mean seriously it’s not like Palm is bothering to update their product at all.
I had such high hopes for the Pre, and don’t get me wrong I think it’s a great device. It has a great UI and so much potential, but…
Palm seems to be doing the minimum to get by… Video...

Black Friday Deals, not that impressive in 2009 →
I don’t know, perhaps I’m a bit scrooged due to the economy, but it’s because of this economy that I thought we might see some serious Black friday deals going on… But that doesn’t seem to be the case. At least on the tech front.
The most interesting gadget I have seen thus far that will be on sale on Friday is a $78 Magnavox Blu-ray player at walmart.
As most of...

The Real Reason the Droid's Camera Fixed Itself →
This has to be the strangest bug I have ever run across.
Everybody pretty much agreed, the Motorola Droid is a great phone, cetainly the best thing running Google’s Android operating system to date.
But the droid is plagued by a couple of hardware problems. First is the physical keyboard is really tough to get used too. Second was that the 5mp Camera’s auto focus was terrible.
I...

Today is the day of the big fall dashboard update for Xbox 360 owners. I have been lucky enough to be part of the preview for the last month so let me give you the real quick review of each of the new services.
**Facebook: ** The Facebook integration is pretty decent. It’s about the same as using Facebook on an iPhone or similar mobile device. The good is looking at your friends...

Vega: Android Leaps from Phone to Tablet →
The Apple tablet? no, still no confirmation. The Crunch Pad? No, should be in productions but we have seen nothing hit yet. Vega, hell yes.
What? A company I have never heard of promising a low cost tablet computer due out in the next six months? Yes, such is the ways of the tech world.

Google Acquires Gizmo5 VoiP Service →
This is an interesting pick up for the ole goog…
Google Voice is currently under attack from AT&T and other carriers about not having to adhere to telecom rules. Google Voice defends itself by stateing (truthfully) that they don’t carry any communications, just use existing networks such as AT&T to place the calls.

OS X 10.6.2 Does Not Ditch Atom Support,... →
A correction to a previous story. It seems the latest developer build of OS X 10.6.2 puts Intel Atom chip support back in.
It seems that Apple’s “don’t ask don’t tell” policy on unofficial hardware is back in effect.
Nothing to see here, move along… move along.

Analyst warns Droid will hurt BlackBerry, Palm →
This is interesting. Money analyst Citigroup is telling investors to sell RIM and Palm stock all on news of the Motorola Droid hitting the streets Friday.
The droid is marketing itself as an iPhone competitor but it makes sence that the market share it will eat first and facstest isn’t iPhone market share. It’s the other iPhone competitors, namely RIM’s Blackberry, and...

That’s right. In the next update to snow leopard Apple will no longer support the Intel Atom Processor. Which means…
Apple no longer has plans (if they ever did) to use that processor in any of their future releases. That’s right there will be no Apple Netbook, or Nettop.
and/or…
Apple is attempting to stop the spread of the hackint0sh netbooks. In cas you...
